New Staff Expands Kestrel’s Expertise

Kestrel is expanding our expertise with the addition of three new employees:

Chad_CoopmanChad Coopmans joins Kestrel as a Technology-Enabled Business Solutions (TEBS) Consultant, supporting the integration of Information Technology (IT) into Kestrel projects. Chad’s background includes eight years as a placed IT consultant to three large organizations, where he was in charge of project management through SharePoint. He has experience managing projects and documents, developing reports and metrics, managing data collection, and providing customer support.

brenda-keillor_webBrenda Keillor brings over 35 years of experience working in the process industries, including 30 years with The Dow Chemical Company, to the Kestrel team. Brenda served in a number of senior EHS roles in her time at Dow, including EHS Mergers and Acquisitions Director, responsible for all aspects of EHS integrations and de-integrations across all regions of the company; Global EHS Improvement Director, where she provided functional leadership to achieve EHS performance and compliance goals; and EHS Systems Expertise Center Leader, where she directed and supported the development, delivery, utilization, and sustainability of a standardized EHS Management System. As a Senior Consultant, Brenda will be supporting Kestrel’s services to the chemicals and oil & gas industries, specifically our HPR and Management System Assessment and Improvement services.

jake-taylorJake Taylor is a Senior EHS Consultant with over 20 years of management experience in the areas of EHS, risk management, human resources, and facilities management. Jake brings a unique perspective to projects, having worked as an EHS Manager for a number of industrial companies. He will provide leadership for Kestrel’s EHS service offerings, as well as onsite senior-level compliance support to Kestrel’s industrial clients. This includes overseeing and performing EHS compliance audits and assisting with follow-up corrective action; developing, managing, and implementing EHS management systems and programs for clients; offering assistance with major incident investigations and conducting human factors analyses; and ensuring that quality standards on project deliverables are met.
