Jack Anderson, P.E., Joins the Kestrel Team

Jack Anderson, P.E., joins Kestrel as a Senior Consultant with 20 years of experience in the environmental, renewable energy, and construction markets. He has a proven track record of success with extensive leadership, project management, and technical experience in managing a diverse array of engineering projects, as well as leading and mentoring professional and technical staff.
Prior to joining Kestrel, Jack worked as a Senior Engineering Design Project Manager on over 860 MW of utility-scale wind and solar energy Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) projects valued at $30 MM – $70 MM. He also served as a Product Developer and Project Manager for the development of a web-based SCADA product for a national environmental consulting firm, where he led the conceptual development, detailed design, implementation, and ongoing sales and marketing of a software product that allows clients to monitor, control, and generate reports of their operating systems from a secure internet connection.
During Jack’s career, he has also been a department management, coach, and mentor to a staff of engineers and technicians; lead project engineer/technical coordinator; and consultant. He served as the company-wide technical resource in the areas of pump and piping system design and modeling; electronic controls; instrumentation and SCADA systems; and conceptual and detailed multi-disciplinary design, construction, and operation of environmental remediation technologies.
Jack has a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Iowa. He is a Registered P.E. in the states of Wisconsin, Virginia, Maryland, North Carolina, Connecticut, Maine, and Iowa, and is registered with the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
